Jones County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, arrange a release, post bond, retrieve an official booking file, or answer for the sheriff, jail, police department, court, or corrections agency. Direct record questions to the office that maintains the record.

Where to Request a Record

For a current county custody question or an existing booking record, start with the Jones County Sheriff's Office. Its open-records route identifies Brittani Marks as the records clerk. The office does not publish a local photo fee or guaranteed completion time, so ask for a cost estimate and distinguish a booking sheet from a booking photograph.

Sheriff open-records request · Current inmate search

A request should name the person, approximate booking date, and inmate ID when known. Ask for an existing record and request the booking sheet and photograph separately. Georgia's public-records response framework provides an initial response within three business days, but that does not guarantee production within that period.

Choose the Right Office

The office depends on the record and the custody state:

  • For a current Jones County Jail entry or a released county booking, use the county roster and records-request path.
  • For a selected public-safety notice or a tip, use Sheriff's Most Wanted, the sheriff's tip form, or Crimestoppers. Never approach a listed person.
  • For a Gray incident report, use the Gray Police report-request page. The request may be made in person or by mail with a self-addressed stamped envelope, the involved person's name, event date, and locating details. The page says reports may be requested three business days after the event and publishes no fee.
  • For a Gray traffic, parking, or ordinance case, use Gray Municipal Court. Broader criminal filings go to the Jones County Clerk.
  • For a state-sentenced person, use the Georgia Department of Corrections offender search and distinguish its ID from a jail inmate ID.
  • For federal sentenced custody or immigration detention, use the BOP locator or ICE locator.

Gray Police Department

Gray Police handles city policing and offers a report-request route, but its official navigation has no public arrest log, booking feed, jail roster, mugshot gallery, or warrant checker. For an individual transfer into county custody, confirm the matter with Gray PD or the jail rather than assuming every city arrest appears in the current roster.

Jones County Court Contact

The Jones County Clerk of Superior Court handles the broader criminal docket and publishes criminal calendars. The office is at 110 South Jefferson Street, Gray, Georgia 31032. Its telephone is 478-986-6671, and the listed hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. The clerk's site links a county case portal and re:SearchGA. Gray Municipal Court is narrower. Its clerk is at 151 James Street and can be reached at 478-986-5431. Courtroom proceedings are at 109 James Street. Its published scope covers traffic, parking, and city-ordinance matters, not the full Jones County criminal docket.
